Functional and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Symptomatic Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Following Percutaneous Decompression

In this single-site, 40-patient study, consecutive LSS patients presenting with neurogenic claudication were treated with percutaneous lumbar decompression. 1-year post-treatment, this prospective study demonstrated statistically significant improvement in pain (VAS improvement of 3.5 points), standing time (increased from 8 to 56 minutes) and walking distance (increased from 246 feet to 3,956 feet) with no device or procedure-related serious complications.
