The mild® Procedure: A Minimally Invasive Treatment for Back Pain

Source— WSVN Channel 7 Published July 1, 2019

Tiffany Stone of WXYZ-TV Detroit’s Channel 7 news interviews Michigan Pain Specialist Dr. Edward Washabaugh about Vertos Medical’s innovative, minimally invasive treatment called the mild® Procedure, which treats back pain resulting from lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS).

“The mild® Procedure is a minimally invasive ligament decompression of the lumbar spine… The lumbar spine gets tight and as you get older, for people who are 50 or more, they’ll start to lean forward on shopping carts, they will sit because they can’t walk long distances. This procedure makes it so those people can get back to functioning and walking farther, and back to enjoying their lives,” Dr. Washabaugh says.

Other topics Dr. Washabaugh discusses in the news segment include the mild® Procedure’s safety, how it’s performed, patient eligibility and where viewers can go to learn more.
