Vertos Medical is proud to announce the #KnowYourBackStory campaign recently earned several 2022 MarCom awards in the categories of strategic communications, digital & social media, publicity & promotional campaigns.
MarCom is considered to be one of the most prestigious marketing communications awards, described on their website as, “honoring excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work and generosity of industry professionals.”
Specifically, Vertos earned the below MarCom awards within the following categories:

About The Awards
MarCom awards are a mark of peer recognition from the creative industry, with winners ranging from large international creative agencies and Fortune 500 companies to individual creative professionals.
Of more than 6,500 entries from the United States, Canada, and 43 other countries, only 18% of the entries were considered platinum awards. In total, Vertos won 5 awards, including 3 Platinum, 1 Gold, and 1 Honorable Mention.
The MarCom awards were received within various segments of the #KnowYourBackStory campaign, including social advertisement, 3D Video, public polling, and consumer stories.
The national #KnowYourBackStory campaign, which launched in 2022, educates and encourages millions of people with chronic low back pain (CLBP) and their physicians, to learn more about their “back story,” including the potential cause of lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), screening, the importance of looking for the enlarged ligament, and potential treatment options.

Although the complication rate for the mild® Procedure is low, as with most surgical procedures, serious adverse events, some of which can be fatal, can occur, including heart attack, cardiac arrest (heart stops beating), stroke, and embolism (blood or fat that migrates to the lungs or heart). Other risks include infection and bleeding, spinal cord and nerve injury that can, in rare instances, cause paralysis. This procedure is not for everyone. Patient stories on this website reflect the results experienced by individuals who have undergone the mild® Procedure. Patients are not compensated for their testimonial.
