James M. Corbett, Chief Executive Officer 
Mr. Corbett has more than 28 years of leadership experience in the medical device field. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of ev3 Inc. (Nasdaq: EVVV), where he led the development of the company's peripheral and neurovascular device business. Over the course of his career, Mr. Corbett has held the positions of Chief Executive Officer, Home Diagnostics Inc.; President, Boston Scientific International; and General Manager Baxter, Japan, as well as a number of executive roles in his 11 years at Baxter Healthcare.
Bryce Way, Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology
With more than 15 years of medical device engineering experience, Mr. Way holds multiple patents in spine technology. Prior to joining Vertos Medical, he was the New Product Development Manager for Kyphon where his group released numerous new products representing 40% of Kyphon's annual sales.
Rebecca Colbert, Vice President of Finance
Ms. Colbert brings both financial and commercial experience to her role. Prior to joining Vertos Medical, she held the position of Vice President, Customer & Sales Operations for the surgical division of Bausch & Lomb. Ms. Colbert also served in several roles including Vice President, Finance & Sales Operations for eyeonics inc., an ophthalmic device company whose rapid growth and impending IPO prompted its acquisition by Bausch & Lomb in February 2008. She is a Certified Public Accountant and began her career in public accounting with Deloitte. Ms. Colbert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California.
Michael Enxing, Vice President of Sales
Mr. Enxing brings to Vertos Medical nearly two decades of sales and sales management experience with such companies as Tecnol, Stryker, ANS, and CSI, most notably in the areas of new product launches, IPOs and acquisitions.
Douglas R. Bradley, Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Bradley has recently joined the Vertos team as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to Vertos, he was with SenoRx, where as Director of Marketing he handled all aspects of developing and executing marketing strategies including product placement and development of training programs. His responsibilities included launching Breast Biopsy Systems and Marker Brands and the Gamma Detection System which contributed over $40mil combined in sales. Mr. Bradley also developed and executed professional education courses for radiologists and surgeons that have run for over six consecutive years. Prior to SenoRx, he was with Obagi Medical Products, Allergan, Coherent Medical Laser Group, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer. He has earned multiple awards, is a past president of the Medical Marketing Association & AMO Management Club and received his MBA from Pepperdine University. Mr. Bradley is a classically trained marketing executive with over 30 years experience of launching a broad range of medical device products, to multiple specialties, in major markets worldwide.
Mbithi Muthini, Vice President of Quality Assurance
Mr. Muthini has more than 18 years experience in biotech research and the medical device industry, having implemented quality systems and been involved in several new product introductions. Before joining Vertos Medical, he held management positions at St. Francis/Kyphon/Medtronic and Evera.
Charlene Myers, Director of Clinical Research
Ms. Myers' extensive experience in the medical specialties field includes leadership roles at PowerVision, Genyx Medical, Johnson & Johnson, Ethicon-Endosurgery and Alcon Laboratories. She has more than 20 years of clinical research background in IDE/PMA processes and regulations, due diligence for new acquisitions, post-approval market support data collection, and technical writing.
Michael Mydra, Director of Reimbursement
Mr. Mydra has more than 20 years of successful reimbursement, clinical, sales and marketing, and business management experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vertos Medical, he was Vice President of Reimbursement for Sanarus Medical, Inc., a venture-backed medical device company specializing in the treatment of women's breast disease. Mr. Mydra has held senior leadership positions at Urologix, Inc. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. He holds both a B.A. in Biology and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a graduate certificate from the University of Minnesota - Carlson Management School/Mayo Clinic Advanced Management Program for Healthcare Executives.
Christy Takeno, Financial Controller
Prior to joining Vertos Medical, Ms. Takeno held the position of Accounting Manager for the surgical division of Bausch & Lomb. Prior to Bausch & Lomb’s acquisition of eyeonics inc. in February 2008, Ms. Takeno held the position of Assistant Controller at eyeonics inc., an ophthalmic medical device company. She began her career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, LLP, during which time she obtained her Certified Public Accounting license. Ms. Takeno graduated summa cum laude from Chapman University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
