James M. Corbett, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Corbett joined Vertos Medical in November 2008 as President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Corbett served as CEO and President of ev3, Inc., and was Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2007 to 2008. Mr. Corbett served as Chairman of the Board of Micro Therapeutics, Inc., from 2002 to 2005, prior to its merger with ev3. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Corbett was President and CEO of Home Diagnostics, Inc. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Corbett served as the President of Boston Scientific International. This included the Scimed / Boston Scientific acquisition. Mr. Corbett was General Manager of Baxter Cardiovascular, Japan from 1989 to 1992, and held various sales and marketing positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation from 1981 to 1992.
Mr. Corbett has been a board member of several public and private companies including Symphonix (1999-2001), Therox (2000-2003), Alsius (2003-2004) and ev3 (2001-2008). Mr. Corbett holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas University.
Randel W. Woodgrift, Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology
Mr. Woodgrift brings over 26 years of experience in medical device development and commercialization as well as worldwide operations scale-up and leadership. Prior to joining Vertos Medical, Mr. Woodgrift was Corporate Vice President of Manufacturing at Edwards Lifesciences LLC (NYSE: EW) and recently Vice President of Operations for Surgical Heart Valves and Transcatheter Valves at Edwards. He also led global operations in the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, South America and Asia for Edwards and Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Mr. Woodgrift earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, Biomedical Engineering graduate certification from University of California, Irvine, and received his MBA from Pepperdine University.
Rebecca Colbert, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance
Ms. Colbert brings both financial and commercial experience to her role. Prior to joining Vertos Medical, she held the position of Vice President, Customer & Sales Operations for the surgical division of Bausch & Lomb. Ms. Colbert also served in several roles including Vice President, Finance & Sales Operations for eyeonics inc., an ophthalmic device company whose rapid growth and impending IPO prompted its acquisition by Bausch & Lomb in February 2008. She is a Certified Public Accountant and began her career in public accounting with Deloitte. Ms. Colbert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California.
Charlene Myers, Vice President of Clinical/Regulatory/Quality
Ms. Myers' extensive experience in the medical specialties field includes leadership roles at PowerVision, Genyx Medical, Alcon Laboratories and Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company. She has more than 20 years of clinical research background in IDE/PMA processes and regulations, due diligence for new acquisitions, post-approval market support data collection, and technical writing.
Michael Enxing, Vice President of Sales 
Mr. Enxing brings to Vertos Medical nearly two decades of sales and sales management experience with such companies as Tecnol, Stryker, ANS, and CSI, most notably in the areas of new product launches, IPOs and acquisitions.
Ann Deren-Lewis, Vice President of Marketing
Ms. Deren-Lewis comes to Vertos with 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, primarily focused in the areas of dermatology—both therapeutic and aesthetic. Over the course of her career she’s developed broad expertise in professional relations, medical affairs, business development, marketing, medical education, market research and consulting. Previously, she held the position of vice president, medical services and professional relations at Merz Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Deren-Lewis has also served as vice president, professional relations at Stiefel Laboratories, Inc., as well as director of professional relations and health care compliance officer for OrthoNeutrogena and Colbar Lifesciences, both Johnson and Johnson companies. Additionally, Ms. Deren-Lewis worked with Genentech, Amgen, GlaxoSmithKline and Ernst & Young. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, Ms. Deren-Lewis received her bachelor degree in Accountancy and earned her M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Michael Mydra, Director of Reimbursement 
Mr. Mydra has more than 20 years of successful reimbursement, clinical, sales and marketing, and business management experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vertos Medical, he was Vice President of Reimbursement for Sanarus Medical, Inc., a venture-backed medical device company specializing in the treatment of women's breast disease. Mr. Mydra has held senior leadership positions at Urologix, Inc. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. He holds both a B.A. in Biology and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a graduate certificate from the University of Minnesota - Carlson Management School/Mayo Clinic Advanced Management Program for Healthcare Executives.
Christy Takeno, Financial Controller
Prior to joining Vertos Medical, Ms. Takeno held the position of Accounting Manager for the surgical division of Bausch & Lomb. Prior to Bausch & Lomb’s acquisition of eyeonics inc. in February 2008, Ms. Takeno held the position of Assistant Controller at eyeonics inc., an ophthalmic medical device company. She began her career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, LLP, during which time she obtained her Certified Public Accounting license. Ms. Takeno graduated summa cum laude from Chapman University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
